Brakes have disc brakes and drum brakes and air brakes, older cars are a lot of front and back drum. A lot of cars have disc brakes on the front and back. Because the heat dissipation of the disc brake is better than that of the drum brake, under the condition of high speed braking, it is not easy to produce thermal decline, so its high speed braking effect is good. But in low speed cold brake, brake effect is inferior to drum brake. The price is more expensive than drum brake. So a lot of senior cars use the whole brake, and ordinary cars use the front and rear drum, and relatively low speed, and need to braking force of trucks, buses, still use the drum brake.

The drum brake is sealed and shaped like a drum. There are also many brake POTS in China. It rotates when driving. There are two arc-shaped or semicircular brake shoes fixed inside the drum brake. When stepping on the brake, the two brake shoes stretch out under the action of the brake wheel cylinder, and the brake shoes rub against the inner wall of the brake drum to slow down or stop the car.
