Brake drum parameters
1. Center aperture (CB)
Refers to the hub center hole size. Although hubs with different values from the original factory can be installed with a shifter, we do not recommend this for safety reasons.
2. Pitch circle diameter (PCD)
For example, the hub with a pitch circle diameter of 5x120mm represents that it has 5 positioning bolts, and their circular diameter is 120mm. This value should also comply with the original factory.
3. OFFSET
Also known as ET value, this value is positive, indicating that the hub fixed surface is outside the central surface and vice versa. The offset value of the car is generally positive, and this value has a great impact on the stability of the car and the tracking property of the bend, which is determined by the original factory and cannot be changed except for special needs.
4. Diameter and width
Diameter determines the size of the hub. Because the speedometer reading of the car is based on the wheel speed measurement, wheel diameter is too large to cause the speedometer reading is small, imperceptibly, you are speeding. Excessive wheel diameters also rub against the wheel arch and wing plate. Therefore, it is better to upgrade the hub to be 1 inch larger than the original factory, no more than 2 inches at most, and also to match the thin tire to ensure the size of the whole wheel is the same as before the upgrade.
5. Buy authentic products with guarantee!
The quality of hub directly affects driving safety. Don't go after cheap, buy online copy of unknown goods.
